WINTER HANDICAP
TRAP TOURNAMENT

THIS TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

  ALL NONMEMBERS MUST COMPLETE AND SIGN A LIABILITY RELEASE FORM ON ENTERING THE CLUB.  

The tournament will start on Sunday, 7 January 2018 at noon, after regular Trap Shooting. This is a Handicap Competition. The tournament will last for 10 weeks (through March 11), with the banquet and Fun Shoot on March 25, unless extended by cancellation due to weather.

There will be $25.00 dues collected the first week a shooter signs up, to go towards awards, the banquet, & prizes.

Each participant will shoot 50 targets each week from the yardages listed below.

28 JAN - 23 yds
4 FEB - 24 yds
11 FEB - 25 yds
18 FEB - 26 yds
25 FEB - 26 yds
4 MAR - 27 yds
11 MAR - 27 yds
25 MAR - Banquet & Fun Shoot

If any week is missed by a shooter, the 50 birds can be made up the following week at the longer yardage, and the shooter will have two entries in the weekly pool partner competition.

Cost will be $15.00 each week, with $6.00 going to the club for targets, $5.00 going for weekly prizes for blind draw partners (paying two places divided 60% for first and 40% for second), and $4.00 towards prizes and the awards banquet.

The prize money will be paid in two Lewis type purses 60% - 40% high gun for the best percentage average for the season shooting a minimum of eight weeks. In case of the first two shooters shooting a different number of weeks, the shooter with more weeks will drop the one or two lowest backup average weeks so they will have the same number of weeks of completion.

THE TRAP RANGE IS CLOSED TO OTHER ACTIVITIES DURING THESE MATCHES.
